Storm Johnson- Shot Put 2nd in Region

Kenny Brooks- 3200m 2nd in Region

Devise Blount- 110 & 300 Hurdles 2nd in Region

Boy's State Meet May 7-9 in Jefferson, GA

Girls:

Taylor Wade

300 Hurdles- Region Champion

100 Hurdles- 2nd in Region

Girl's State Meet May 14-16 in Albany, GA

All uniforms need to be cleaned and turned in to a track coach in a plastic bag w/ your name on it.

Banquet- May 19th @ LHS Auditorium and Cafe.

Banquet reservations should be turned in to

Coach King, Coach BJ Smith, Coach Kevin Johnson,

Coach Nick Johnson, Coach McMillan or Andrea Mitchell.

Everyone must turn in a reservation if you plan on

attending the dinner.

Please check carefully for your discipline (sprint/distance).

You may not use the track except at the designated times.

If you cannot come Sat. morning, then try the LMS track.

Field event workouts must be done with a coach present at LHS.

Parents - It is time to get involved! After a great 2008 season in our new facility we need help to continue to grow into a premier program in 2009. Please ask what you can do to help at each meet. We need volunteers to help with concessions, gates, timing and running off field events.
